The scope of this project included researching how current clinic spaces were being used at a cancer hospital, as well as determining layout options that would allow doctors, nurses, and administrators different degrees of privacy and patient interaction based on their role. As a co-facilitator, designer and project manager for this project, I worked with a team member to develop engaging and informative activities for the doctors and nurses that we interviewed, to map the needs of each individual using the space, and to develop two options for organizing the limited amount of space in the clinic areas. The large format sketches are from a series of workshops with doctors and nurses, while the other documentation is the results of our findings.
