This project explores the intersection of man-made and natural elements by crafting apparent disorder through a rigorous pattern. The study began with the development of a measuring tool that could be used to mimic terrain changes, The varying heights of the metal rods informed by the terrain gave way to a more rigid man-made pattern, that I explored through music-like notations. The pattern varied from row to row in the x and y axes to create a systematic decline in the z-axis that mimic-ed the original terrain. This was then transcribed to a sculptural structure that incorporated heights from the site into tall columns, which decreased in size according to the fixed pattern.
