This project studied the intersection of film narrative and structure. The scope of the project included reconciling a public film editing space with the luxury apartments above in the existing building, One Madison. To conceptualize the transition between the very different spaces, I edited three films together, The Wizard of Oz, La Belle et La Bete, and The Great Gatsby. Using the films to inform the progression of public to private and of opaque to transparent I developed floor plans that became increasingly transparent from one floor to the next.
