This project's goal was not only to design an entirely new kitchen, but to incorporate a new kitchen design element that would not be found elsewhere. After interviewing the client and determining that the need for additional accessible storage space would be the impetus for such a tool, I worked on a two-person team to design and fabricate a kitchen "trough" complete with outlets and raised levels so that items of various heights could be stored there. As design and project manger, I prototyped design elements, managed a team of plumbers, carpenters and electricians, and completed all design documentation.
