The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation-funded "Make it Better" Symposium brought together artists, designers, health professionals, policymakers and entrepreneurs to present ways in which design could impact healthcare delivery, service and awareness. I was selected as a student representative for the conference given my work on how design could be used to encourage preventive health practices, with a focus on access to healthy foods. During the conference, I discussed my work and served on a panel of designers who fielded audience questions. Below is an interview I gave for the conference.
